Dr. Yasur Iftach is the Director of the Oculoplastics Unit at Rabin Medical Center, which includes Beilinson, Sharon, and Schneider Children’s Hospitals. He also leads the Eye Tumor Center at Beilinson Hospital in partnership with the Davidoff Cancer Center.

Dr. Yasur focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyelids, tear ducts, and eye socket, as well as the treatment of eyelid tumors. With more than two decades dedicated to oculoplastic surgery, he has carried out over 10,000 operations, making him one of Israel’s most respected specialists in this highly focused field. Medical Training and Career Path

After graduating from the Hadassah Medical School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Dr. Yasur completed his residency in ophthalmology at Tel HaShomer Hospital in 1999. He went on to complete a fellowship in Baltimore, USA, at Sinai Hospital (1999–2001), where he trained under world leaders in cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid and orbital surgery. In 2013, he established the Eye Tumor Center at Rabin Medical Center, a multidisciplinary collaboration with the Davidoff Cancer Center. Since 2001, he has been directing the Oculoplastics Department at Rabin Medical Center.
